The Vista Strawberry Festival is the only festival in San Diego County that celebrates all the joys and pleasures of the Strawberry. Vista was once the “Strawberry Capital of the World” and still boasts many strawberry fields. Come enjoy our celebration of the “berry” as we bring over 375 vendors, 10K and 5K certified runs, 1 mile and quarter mile kid’s runs, unique strawberry dessert creations, pie eating competition, costumes and contests, carnival rides, music on 5 stages, international selection of foods, beer garden, and much more together in the beautifully renovated and historic downtown Vista! The Strawberry Festival is by far the largest community event of the year for Vista with an estimated 90,000 in attendance – join us!

Join more than 30,000 visitors at the Santee Street Fair and Craft Beer Festival with lots of fun for the whole family to enjoy. Celebrating its seventh year, the Street Fair will host its second annual beer festival featuring local breweries. There will also be more than 300 various food and vendor booths, art, kids zone, local entertainment and more!

Over 500 vendors, live entertainment, and food from around the world have combined to make the Escondido Grand Avenue Festival a family tradition since 1989.

The festival kicks off at 9 a.m. and will jump and jive all day until 5 p.m. Come and join us on historic Grand Avenue in downtown Escondido.

Beautiful and balmy days in the coastal city of Carlsbad beckon you to the largest
one day street faire anywhere!

The Village Faire features over 850 unique vendors with a little of everything: arts & crafts, antiques, unique clothing, items from around the world, and more. Children’s rides, an international food center, and an old-fashioned pancake breakfast guarantee that you’ll find fun for the whole family!

Parking for this very popular event is limited, so visitors are encouraged to use the complimentary shuttles that run to and from the faire every 15 minutes. The shuttle pick-up locations are at the northwest corner of Sears at Westfield Shoppingtown Plaza Camino Real (Highway 78 and Jefferson) as well as at the Poinsettia Coaster Station (Poinsettia exit off of I-5).

Fallbrook’s Annual Avocado Festival provides an opportunity for entertainment and camaraderie bringing large numbers of visitors. The central role that the avocado plays in our lives is evident in the Festival’s Farmers Market, Agricultural Area, Avocado Culinary Demonstrations, Guacamole Contest, Avocado Ice Cream, Holy Guaca-Moly, the Art of the Avocado Contest, the Avo 500 Children’s Car Race, and the Best Decorated Avocado Contest.  A wide variety of agricultural displays are also found all along the Festival streets. What a fun-filled way to celebrate our heritage and be entertained at the same time!

The faire features displays from more than 250 local and nationwide vendors. A Kid's Festival is featured inside the faire and includes carnival rides; local talent including children and children's acts performing on the San Marcos community stage. Highlights of the faire include a wide variety of ethnic and American foods and beverages (such as Lemonades, ice teas, sodas and water) and a stage with live music! 

With 450+ booths to visit, plus dozens of unique downtown Encinitas retailers, here’s a perfect opportunity to do your holiday shopping.  

Enjoy the music of popular local bands on The Garden Stage and The Lumberyard Courtyard Stage, plus dance, music and other entertainment on the Community Stage. And walk your furry friends into the Lumberyard (near the Beer Garden) for a Blessing of the Animals ceremony at 3pm!  All kinds of animals are welcome!

When it’s time for a bite or a drink, the options are abundant, from the unique food vendors in the street fair to the 40+ restaurants and bars in our downtown.

The Vista BBQ Classic is an official Kansas City BBQ Society sanctioned event in Historic Downtown Vista.  For the past 7 years, teams have traveled from all over the state to compete for prize money, trophies, points and bragging rights.
